VoIP Provider - Ten Tips to Help You Choose a Good Provider

VoIP phone service is a fast growing business. There are many VoIP companies in the market these days, but professional reviews are very few. Here are some simple tips to help you compare individual companies before making your decision.

1) Price - Many people look for the lowest price when choosing a VoIP provider. However, price should never be your first priority. With keen competition in the market today, price difference among individual companies is very small. You should consider other factors such as service quality, customer support, service plan options etc.

2) Service - Look for quality and reliable service. The quality of VoIP service also depends on broadband connection speed. If you want to use some standalone VoIP providers, make sure you also have high quality broadband connection.

3) Customer support - The company should provide good customer support including 24 hours phone support 7 days a week.

4) Satisfaction guarantee - Most companies require you to sign a 1 year contract. Choose a company that provides satisfaction guarantee or free trial. If you don't like their service, you can terminate it within 30 days without paying a penalty fee.

5) Company size - Large companies are often better run and have more sophisticated equipments and facilities than small companies.

6) Service plans - Some plans provide unlimited local and long distance calls; some even provide unlimited global calls to international cities. Choose a plan that is most suitable for your need.

7) Local area codes - Find a VoIP provider which can offer a local area code. Otherwise, your friends living in your area will be charged for long distance calls when they call you using an analog phone.

8) Additional features - Call forwarding, call waiting, conference call, caller ID, call filtering are all very useful bonuses. Many VoIP companies provide these services for free.

9) E911 - Make sure the VoIP provider offers E911 service (enhanced 911), which allows your name and address to be given to local dispatch center automatically during an emergency.

10) User reviews - Read some online customer reviews as a reference. However, bear in mind that these reviews can be tainted and the quality of VoIP service is affected by many factors. If in doubt, call the companies to express your concern and ask for clarification.

Download Games Onto iPhone

iPhones are crazily popular, and getting free games for them is something that more and more people are learning to do. There's probably more games on iPhone than you realise, so why not learn to get your share today?

There are a few different methods of locating these kinds of games, and we'll run through them now:

Download Game Onto iPhone- Method 1

Just Google it! You can find plenty of java games that use the iPhone's web browser, and many of these titles are suprisingly good quality. The main difference with the games like this is that there is really no download required. It's just about connecting to the right internet site, and playing the games directly in your browser. Of course the main disadvantage here is that if you are outside of a provider's coverage area, you won't be playing anything! Check out iPhoneBattlefleet.com for a great example.

Download Game Onto iPhone-Method 2

Membership sites-There are sites around that will give you access to their games, but at a price-usually about $30 a month! This to me is a little overpriced, as you can get the same service for much less money. Also, what about when you don't use the site for a little while? You still get charged for it, which just doesn't seem fair to me.

Download Game Onto iPhone-Method 3

Torrents/P2P sites. This is NOT recommended, as it is illegal. The only way it's not illegal is if you already own the game which you are downloading, and you are downloading it solely as a "backup." Yeah right! Seriously though, the governments of the world are getting better at catching people for this, so it's really best to stay out of it altogether-this is not really the safest way to get iPhone games-and that's not to mention all the nasty malware that you'll be inflicting on your computer!

Download Game Onto iPhone-Method 4

Life has just gotten a whole lot easier due to the more specialist sites that have recently sprung up. Sites like this are not free, but they certainly provide an excellent service and ridiculously high value for money. Typically you would pay say 30 or 40 bucks to get access to the site, and then that's it-you get access to literally millions of media files, and the company use your money for upkeep of servers etc. It's a win-win situation.

Download game onto iPhone may seem like something that only those "in the know" can do, but it's really much simpler. Hopefully this article has opened your eyes a little. Check out the links below to the best rated iPhone sites.

Broadband - Take to the Road With Mobile Broadband

Over the years broadband has become increasingly flexible, with 2008 set to be a very interesting year. This is because of the expected widespread adoption of mobile broadband.

Although mobile broadband technology has been around for a few years, there have been a few factors holding it back, mainly cost and download speeds. Technological improvements however, have meant that mobile broadband is now a viable and cost efficient option.

The technology in question is known as High-Speed Downlink Packet Access or HSDPA and currently allows for download rates of up to 7.2Mbps, very close to rivalling the advertised rate of most fixed line connections. HSDPA speeds are likely to improve considerably as the technology becomes more widespread and network advancements are made.

Unlike other wireless technologies, notably WiFi, mobile broadband does not require a hotspot for operation, it is truly mobile. Making use of the 3G network, which covers around 90% of the UK you are able to get on the internet, wherever you can find a signal - similar to finding a signal on your phone. Moreover, this network is planned to cover 98% of the country by 2009.

All that is required to get online is a subscription and a USB dongle, often provided by the network operator.

There are a growing number of packages on the market, with the UKs main operators offering some very cost effective options. The majority of packages have a fixed limit on the amount you are able to download in a month, just like the caps imposed on fixed-line packages.

The difference with mobile broadband though is that the caps are generally much lower than that of fixed lines, making them an unsuitable option for users who wish to download large amounts and have access to a fixed line.

On the other hand, mobile broadband is likely to be the perfect option for business users who are on the move or students that are unable to afford costly line rental charges. It may be the only option for some users, such as residences too far away from their local exchange to get broadband, but who are within reach of the 3G network.

As mentioned the market for mobile broadband is growing quickly, with the technology expected to be fully incorporated into the broadband market throughout 2008. Finding cheap broadband is therefore very easy, even more so online.

A Guide to Bukit Bintang - The Center of Kuala Lumpur

Bukit Bintang is the main street in Kuala Lumpur (Bukit meaning hill and Bintang meaning Star (Star Hill)). This street is home to many of the top hotels in the world with JW Marriot, The Westin, Royle Bintang Hotel, Federal Hotels Bingtang, Capitol Hotel Bingtang and many more. If you are thinking of staying in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, you can rest assured that the service will be top notch.

Without doubt, Bukit Bintang is the shopping center of Kuala Lumpur with around 30,000 shops within close proximity. There are a number of shopping centers along Bukit Bintang among which are Lot 10, Sun Gai Won which is simply massive and it is very easy to get lost in, Low Yat Plaza which has to be the spiritual home for people interested in computers and gadgets.

There are many great restaurants in Bukit Bintang, but one of my personal favourites is the Bangkok Jam in Low Yat Plaza. There are also a number of street side bars and cafes where you can enjoy either a coffee or a beer while you watch the world go by.

Bukit Bintang has it all, from people trying to sell you caricatures to stalls offering tourist mementos. This is a busy street that moves at a fast pace and it is a great place to get lost for a few hours. Bukit Bintang is easily accessible by mono rail and taxi service. If you are planning to get a taxi, don't be afraid to haggle.
